BSI release supplementary information for BS 5839-1

Please note BSI have published document: PD 6531:2018 - Queries and interpretations on BS 5839-1
This document (PD 6531:2018) “answers queries and provides supplementary information to further interpret and explain the recommendations in BS 5839-1:2017, the British Standard on fire detection and alarm systems in non-domestic buildings.”
“It answers queries concerning how BS 5839-1:2017 should be interpreted. It also supplies supplementary information on the recommendations and application of BS 5839-1:2017 and seeks to clarify the intentions of the standard in the hope that this will be helpful to users. It does not in any way supersede or modify the recommendations in BS 5839-1.”
