BAFE SP202 Registration Process
This scheme is only for organizations who already hold LPCB/BRE LPS 1204 Gas Extinguishing Systems Third Party Certification and wish to register with BAFE. Organizations cannot register to this scheme without this specific certification.
A step by step process of how to become BAFE Registered to the BAFE SP202 Gas Extinguishing Systems (LPS 1204) Scheme can be found below.
Check requirements. Does your organization hold LPS 1204 Gas Extinguishing Systems Third Party Certification?
If yes, proceed to step 2. If not and you would like your organization to be Third Party Certificated in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fixed gaseous fire extinguishing systems please see the BAFE SP203-3 Fixed Gaseous Fire Extinguishing Systems Scheme for further information.
Complete the BAFE SP202 (LPS 1204) Application Form and submit this to BAFE. With this you need to include a copy of a valid LPS 1204 certificate.
Once this application has been approved your organization will achieve BAFE SP202 Registration. Your organization will then be added to the BAFE Fire Safety Register online, which will enable all users searching for Third Party Certificated BAFE Registered Companies for this service to access your information.
BAFE will then send out a welcome pack including your BAFE SP202 Registration Certificate. At this point you will be permitted to display the BAFE SP202 logo and promote your BAFE SP202 Registration where appropriate (please contact BAFE for digital versions of the BAFE SP202 logo for use on web/print/vehicles).
