Organizations who wish to obtain BAFE SP101 Registration must first implement a management system via either an ISO9001 (to the scope of BAFE SP101) certification or a management system (to the scope of BAFE SP101) certification from a UKAS Accredited Certification Body. Please note following Third Party Certification being awarded, the organization need to apply directly to BAFE complete the process of becoming a BAFE SP101 Registered Company.
BSI (British Standards Institution), Independent European Certification Limited, NSI (National Security Inspectorate) and SSAIB (Security Systems Alarm Inspection Board) are the UKAS Accredited Certification Bodies that are licensed by BAFE to deliver BAFE SP101 Scheme assessment (Management System Route).
