Similar to BS 8674, the Scheme takes a tiered approach recognising fire risk assessors at  foundation, immediate and advanced levels.

BS 8674 creates a development pathway for those engaged in FRA practice, making sure they do not work beyond their competence level and helping them to develop in their career.  It helps them prepare to take on increasingly complex work in a way that is both progressive and can be supported by more experienced experts or specialists. 

Existing BAFE SP205 Registered Organisations

BAFE is offering existing Registered Organisations a two-year period to transfer and align with the qualification requirements of the revised Life Safety Fire Risk Assessment Scheme (SP205) Version 6.
