With great sadness BAFE announce the death of Joe Lewis-Warren following a short period of ill health.

Joe worked for BAFE when the organisation provided fire extinguisher training and continued to provide training with the FIA when this role moved over to them.

As FIA outline on their website, Joe was recognised as one of the foremost experts in British safety standards for fire extinguishers and had a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field of fire safety. His contribution to the fire safety industry is vast, including writing courses for multiple organisations.

We have lost a big character and he will be sadly missed. Our thoughts are with Joe’s family and we must commend Jordan, Joe’s son, who has continued with their courses for the BS 5306 exam as usual during this extremely difficult time.
