The BAFE Fire Safety Register have been confirmed as the new headline sponsor of the Fire and Security Matters Awards 2024.
BAFE has been the trusted independent register of quality fire safety organisations for the UK since 1984 and this announcement marks a key part of its 40th anniversary celebration.
The Fire & Security Matters Awards (FSM Awards) is now in its third year and celebrates innovation and achievements in the fire and security sectors. This strongly aligns with BAFE’s passion for promoting quality and competence within the fire sector.
The FSM Awards had over 280 entries last year and sold out 640 people in attendance. Next year’s FSM Awards will once again take place at the Coventry Building Society Arena on 12 June 2024 on the same day and location as the Fire Safety Matters Live Conference and an all-new BAFE conference.
Speaking on the announcement of BAFE becoming headline sponsor of the Awards, BAFE Group Managing Director Justin Maltby-Smith said: “The BAFE Fire Safety Register are pleased to be the headline sponsor of the Fire and Security Matters Awards for 2024. This will form part of several events planned to celebrate and promote BAFE throughout our 40th anniversary year. We look forward to working with Western Business Media and their awards to celebrate achievements in the fire and security sectors, whilst celebrating our own milestone year in operation.”
Western Business Media is the organiser of the FSM Awards and its CEO Mark Sennett commented: “We are proud to confirm BAFE as our new headline sponsor for the FSM Awards. The Awards continue to catch the imagination of the fire and security sector with a record number of entries and tickets selling out in record time last year. BAFE and the awards share the same core value of wanting shine a light and celebrate excellence and quality in these sectors.
“We are truly honoured that BAFE is trusting us to be a core part of its 40th anniversary by being the main sponsor of these awards and hosting its first-ever conference with us on the same day. We are proud to support BAFE’s key work in the sector and can’t wait to help it celebrate 40 years of making a difference.”
