BAFE does not itself audit the BAFE registered organisations. Instead, organisation audits are performed by UKAS Accredited Certification Bodies. Whilst BAFE assesses all BAFE SP101 Registered Technicians on a 3-yearly basis as per the requirements of the BAFE SP101 Scheme, BAFE has not evaluated or assessed a BAFE registered organisation’s suitability or appropriateness for any particular matter or their experience or expertise in any particular matter.

You must take appropriate steps to check and verify any organisations that are listed on the BAFE Fire Safety Register and obtain any professional or specialist advice before taking or refraining from any action on the basis of the results obtained from the BAFE Fire Safety Register search and verification tools.
