BAFE Governance

The BAFE Fire Safety Register is managed by an experienced team with senior staff coming from multiple backgrounds including fire, security and accreditation. The team reports to a Board of Directors and a Council made up of a wide range of industry bodies.

The BAFE Fire Safety Register is chaired by Douglas Barnett, Director Mid-Market and Customer Risk Management - AXA Insurance (UK) plc. Douglas was elected by the BAFE Council in February 2014, who now Chairs both the Board and Council and actively supports the team in BAFE’s development.
