Industry Training
BAFE, in association with FIA, provides a well-respected range of fire training coursers covering many aspects of fire alarms and systems.
Fire Alarms
The FIA Training Scheme comprises a number of Units covering Design through Maintenance of fire alarm systems to Fire Extinguishing. All training Units are based on the latest Code of Practice, BS 5839-1 (2002). The new Code has substantial new sections on monitoring and integrity, detector type and choice, false alarms and grades of cable.
All delegates will be given assessment tests during the courses to consolidate the presentation material. Those achieving 75% in the assessment will receive a BFPSA Training Certificate.
