Benefits

Whether you are a manager with fire safety within your portfolio or work within the construction industry you have to be aware of your responsibilities for fire safety. As important as you know fire safety is it probably accounts for a small part of your job specification and it is not always possible to keep up with regulations and technology. By specifying and insisting on BAFE registered firms to provide your fire protection you can rest assured that each element from design through to maintenance can be independently third party certificated providing you with the peace of mind that the protection you specified meets the “duty of care responsibility”.

Including BAFE in your Tender Documentation

If you are responsible for fire safety or specifying fire protection equipment you need to know that what you are buying or specifying is of a standard that shows you are meeting your “duty of care responsibilities”.

The following paragraphs can quite easily be cut and pasted into your tender document so that you can be confident that the products and services you are requesting meet recognised third party certificated standards.
